The shower was refreshing after a long day, but the room had a small sofa bed.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and quick to assist with any questions. I appreciated the convenient location, which allowed easy access to Derby city center and nearby amenities.
More variety in breakfast options would be appreciated.

Clean room with a large, comfortable bed made for a restful night. The breakfast staff were attentive, quickly clearing tables and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. the experience was marred by the need to request cutlery multiple times and a lack of attention to the outdoor cleanliness, which detracted from the overall ambiance.

The hotel's location was ideal for our family, being close to Derby city and the A6, making travel easy. The rooms were clean and offered a comfortable base for exploring. My teens enjoyed nearby attractions like the Fossil Factory, where they learned about dinosaurs.
For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly dining options nearby.

The room was exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and quiet, perfect for a restful night. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a delightful range of hot dishes and fresh fruits that exceeded my expectations. there were issues with the heater in our room blowing cold air, which required a portable heater from reception to resolve. parking fees have recently increased, and we had to navigate a brief inconvenience with breakfast options due to a fridge malfunction.

Didn't like anything, except hairdryer in room

The room was super comfy and modern, really clean, and had everything we needed. I loved the little touches like the ironing board and extra seating. The hotel is a short walk from the center and it's priced right! Breakfast was included too, but it got a bit noisy at night with people in the hallway. a solid stay.

Had a fab time dining at The Hub Bar and Restaurant nearby—seriously, their fish dishes are proper delish! The hotel itself is a clean gem with friendly staff who really care. Plus, breakfast had some ace choices, even though it was a bit packed on the weekend. A nice riverside walk to town rounded out a cracking stay!
But I did have a bit of a rough time with noisy stairs next door, and that €20 adapter mishap was a right giggle—turns out I didn’t need it after all! A wee blunder like that can affect the vibe, but it didn't ruin the overall experience.

It was just a proper fit for a brief hiatus in Derby with good value. Julie in the breakfast room made mornings better with her friendly service. Make sure to check the lift size if you're bringing a lot of bags.

This place has the comfiest bed I’ve slept in at a hotel, making it super easy to relax. The breakfast selection was fantastic, especially the veggie sausages that were available upon request—yum! The staff was incredibly helpful, ensuring that my stay was perfect and hassle-free.

The pillows were super comfy, just what I needed after a long day! The staff was really helpful, but the breakfast could use more variety. 😊

missingWrote a review on Aug 06comfortable bedgreat breakfastgood locationlack of drawersparking fee
The room felt spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed that made my sleep restful. Staff were friendly and genuinely helpful, answering questions promptly. The breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of choices and good quality. I appreciated the orange juice tasting like actual orange, unlike some hotels. I found a lack of drawers for clothes inconvenient. I stayed for four nights, and it was tough managing without proper storage. The dining options were alright, but the menu could use some more variety. The parking fee was a bit of a surprise, yet the discount code offered made it reasonable. I enjoyed the stay and appreciated the location, but some adjustments would enhance the experience.

Convenient and Clean Family Stay
Our family enjoyed a satisfactory stay with a peaceful environment and polite staff. The room size was generous, and we appreciated the coffee facilities. Be sure to register your vehicle at check-in to avoid fines. The limited menu was a downside for late arrivals.
